Year Warranty: All boards repaired at Ambassador Tech Services (ATS)
carry a full one year warranty. ATS will repair free of charge any board covered by this
warranty that has failed under normal use. If a board under warranty is found to be not
repairable, we will credit your account the original repair price. This warranty does not
cover replaced subassemblies where the warranty varies. All boards serviced by ATS are
labeled for easy tracking.
2 - 3 Day Turnaround: Orders of 20 boards or
less are completed and shipped within two to three business days. Larger orders may not be
completed as quickly.
Emergency Rush Repair: RUSH orders
(3 boards maximum) are completed and shipped the day of arrival. A rush fee of
$15.00 per
board will apply. RUSH
orders should be clearly marked RUSH on the exterior of the shipping carton and on your
purchase order. To ensure same day turnaround, please use a delivery service that will
guarantee delivery to us before noon.
Board Exchange: ATS maintains a stock
of repaired boards. If you need a board right away, call us at 1 800 344-4PCB. If we have
the board you need in stock we can ship it to you overnight. You will be invoiced the
current repair charge plus shipping and a $17.50 service charge for each board ordered. When
you receive our board, ship us your defective board in exchange. Please reuse our
packaging. To avoid late charges return an equivalent repairable board within two weeks.
We reserve the right to determine what is repairable. The late charge is $25 per week.
Carefully obtain the part number from the board you will be replacing. You will be charged
for incorrectly ordered boards and boards ordered and returned unused. The re-test and
restock fee on unused boards is half the repair charge up to $35 maximum per board.
Shipping, handling, and the $17.50 service charge are not refundable.
No Problem Found: Half the repair charge
($35 maximum) will apply to boards that have no defects, do not require modification or
calibration, are clean and in good working order. There is no warranty on these boards.
Flat Rate Repair Charge: ATS's
flat rate repair charge will cover all parts and labor required to perform normal repairs,
factory recommended modifications, preventative maintenance, live full load testing,
cleaning, boxing and our one year warranty. There is no diagnostic charge on
non-repairable boards. The flat rate repair charge does not cover replacement of missing
components or subassemblies such as operation panel displays, frames or covers and some
proprietary components.
Extra Repair Charges: Boards that
have extensive damage, are missing components, or require replacement of proprietary
components or subassemblies may require an extra charge to be repaired. No extra charges
will ever be applied without your approval. Diagnostic charges may apply to refused extra
charge repairs.
Individually Boxed And Labeled: Prior
to final packing all repaired boards are inspected, anti-static bubble wrapped,
individually boxed and labeled with the OEM part number, description and machine model.
Return
Shipping, Handling & Insurance: Your order will be shipped back via UPS
in the same manner it was received unless you specify otherwise on your
purchase order or packing slip. A $3.50 handling charge will apply to all orders. Return
shipping insurance will automatically be applied to all orders unless you specify
otherwise in writing. The insurance rate is 1.5% of the total repair charges (rounded to
the nearest quarter). Each 25 cents of insurance will provide $75.00 of coverage. Shipping
and insurance charges are combined on your invoice. Outstanding invoices must be satisfied
prior to settlement of any insurance claim. You must retain all shipping cartons of
damaged boards in order to qualify for a claim. Please contact our shipping department for
instructions.
Terms: Net terms to qualified customers with
approved credit application on file. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted.
Seriously past due accounts will be served on a C.O.D. basis and may include past due amounts.
A $25 service charge will apply to checks returned for any reason.
International Orders: Orders from
outside the United States may be subject to special handling fees. International orders
must be paid in full with U.S. funds prior to return shipping. Visa, MasterCard, American
Express and Discover accepted. All import and export related fees, entry prep fees,
wire transfer fees, taxes or tariffs are paid by the customer.
Order Forms: Your company purchase order or
letterhead can serve as the order form. Make sure your
paperwork includes your company name, ship to and bill to address, phone number, person to
contact, P.O. or control numbers and any special instructions. List the quantity and part
number of each board for repair and include a copy with your shipment.
Shipping Instructions:
Please pack your order carefully. It is best to individually bubble wrap or box each board
prior to placing into your shipping carton. Board symptoms are very helpful and should be
attached to the board. Make sure you include your paperwork! see "ORDER FORMS")
We recommend shipping UPS ground for regular orders and UPS Next Day Air (Red) for RUSH orders.
See "EMERGENCY RUSH REPAIR." We recommend that you
insure your shipment on the way to us.
Liability: Ambassador Tech Services shall not be liable for
any loss of business incurred by our customers, or for any other such consequential
damage, including losses suffered by any end user of our customer's equipment.
